Ayalaan's plot begins with a greedy businessman named Aryan (Sharad Kelkar) who discovers a powerful extraterrestrial crystal called "Sparc". He plans to use this energy source to extract a dangerous gas from the Earth’s core, which would bring massive wealth to him. However, this gas is prone to cause a global environmental disaster, eventually destroying the planet. Meanwhile, a small alien named Tattoo (voiced by Siddharth) arrives on Earth to find the crystal and prevent the disaster. During his mission, he meets Tamizh (Sivakarthikeyan). He has recently moved to the city from his village. Tamizh is a nature lover who believes in protecting the environment. Though initially shocked to see an alien, Tamizh quickly befriends Tattoo. Along with his friends Sugirtharaja (Karunakaran) and Tyson (Yogi Babu), Tamizh decides to help the alien complete his mission. The group faces many dangers as they go up against Aryan’s high-tech security and his cunning assistant Eliza (Isha Koppikar). As the countdown to the planet's destruction begins, Tamizh and Tattoo use their combined courage and skills to enter the villain's secret laboratory.
